Bill Zucker is a musician with a heart of gold.
He’s changed his online store to promise a $5 donation to the Haiti Relief Fund when you buy any album. 2 are available, entitled “Every Window” and “Stranded”, along with a special “buy both and get them autographed” offer (saving $6!). Whichever you buy, the donation [...]

My New Blipfoto Journal

In: Life

16 Jan 2010

Yes, I have a Blipfoto journal! Weren’t expecting that were you?
I’ve been watching Rachel using it, and seeing some of the stuff posted by Pink Princess and Moosical I decided to give it a go myself! I don’t normally take photographs, which is a shame given all the cool stuff going on right now.
So, one of [...]

Yesterday was Rachel’s birthday. She’s been around long enough to experience mine and mums birthday’s, and both Christmas and New Year with us, so I wanted to make sure we did something special for her too. So we decided to go somewhere for a meal… y’know, some place nice.
As luck would have it, the raffle [...]

Just received what can only be the best Happy New Year text ever. It went something like this…
After careful consideration of your performance as a friend in 2009, I have decided to extend your friendship for a futher 12 months, Try not to fuck it up!!! All the best for 2010.
Great stuff – thanks Paul!

1 Jan 2010

Wow, is it really a year already?! I can’t believe that…
It’s been a great year… meeting Rachel, starting McLarenFans.org and various other ventures, buying ForumWorks, etc. Very busy, and VERY fun.
Some things din’t go as planned. Last year I promised Musoswire would be rebuilt and I’d pass my driving test, neither of which happened. Driving [...]

A Mog With A Blog

In: Life

27 Dec 2009

Yep – it’s true. Rachel’s cat, Oliver, now has his very own photo blog!
He’s decided (or is that we’ve decided) to post a photo every day. Sometimes funny, sometimes nonchalant, always new. It’s a bit of fun for me and Rach, and of course Oliver has no idea (or does he?).
The only problem now is… [...]

A Weekend With Martin

In: Life

18 Nov 2009

Last weekend, Martin - my best mate for years, came up. I haven’t seen him for ages. In fact, last time I saw him was before I met Rach, so that tells you how long ago it was!
Now, when Martin comes… things tend to degenerate fairly quickly into an episode of Men Behaving Badly. But that’s [...]

Thanks For The Frog!

In: Life

26 Oct 2009

Yes, that’s right. A Frog. Like this one…

Except this one is in it’s natural habitat… some watery marshy place where it feels at home. Not, as the one that me and Rachel found at 3am this morning, hopping round the living room!
Jewel (one of Rae’s cats) decided it would be fun to catch and bring [...]

Just been sat on the bankside with Rae, talking about business and my todo list, etc. Sat talking, watching the river and the bees buzzing around the various wild flowers that grow. It’s lovely out there right now.
Then we got talking about the bee, and she came out with “that bee is like you”. Puzzled, [...]

My mad dash around the country started at 5am on Friday 4th. We needed to be away by six, to hopefully get to Swansea before everything kicked off. I was worried about Jason getting up in time, so was on edgy and didn’t sleep very well.
Still, needn’t have worried… I got a text at 5.30 [...]
