Was fiddling around with Facebook earlier and found a very funky language setting called “English (Pirate)”, and it’s hillarious!
If you go to your Account settings and click the language tab, you’ll be able to select it from the list of languages.
Give it a go… you’ll revert after a couple of days, but I guarantee you’ll [...]

For the past few weeks, I’ve been starting to think about ways in which I can make quick posts about certain things. Mostly just links that I find useful (or think will be useful to others), funny photos I find on the ‘net, you know the sort of thing…
I’ve started to use Facebook for this, [...]

This picture from Telegraph.co.uk was posted on Facebook by Wendi Kane. Made me laugh…

It only begs one question really. Does that mean the WC is available for a “number two” !?!
LOL – thanks Wendi!

After the hectic events of Saturday, Sunday was pretty relaxed.
We did the usual Sunday morning stop in bed thing, until we got hungry and went down to make breakfast. Rae made a full breakfast, and I helped by… well, staying out the way mostly! We got the table out, I made some coffee, and had [...]

As part of owning Musoswire (and all the other stuff), I use a guy called Jamie Briggs to do most of the design work I require. He’s brilliant. I KNOW he’s brilliant, and I keep telling him such. And then he tells me to pay him more!

4 Months!

In: Life

26 Aug 2009

Just a quick note to say Rae and me have been going out exactly 4 months as of today! Of course, being a bloke she had to remind me, but never mind!
I (we I’m sure) would still like to thank Scott McGrew for bringing us together. And of course thanks must go out to all [...]

This is the Embankment on the Great Ouze in Bedford. Lovely isn’t it?! Walking down it was just one of the things Rae and me did during my weekend in Bedford.
Mum had Dad decided they wanted to go to Waddeston and Stowe Park. Both in the reasonable vacinity of Rachel’s, so we took the opportunity [...]

My Weekend In Bedford

In: Life

25 Aug 2009

As many of you will know, I spent last weekend with Rae down at her house in Bedford. We went to Tesco on Friday, spent Saturday in Bedford and then went on our first date to the Beefeater on Saturday evening. It was lovely.
Sadly, I haven’t had time to upload any of the photos or [...]

A Tiny Thread

In: Social Media

23 Aug 2009

There are lots of little services cropping up now that run off the back of Twitter. Things like Twistori, Twitoria, etc. But a lot of them are… well, a bit pointless really.
Today though another one came to my attention today that seems like it might be a bit more useful to the general Twitterverse.
A Tiny [...]

Men’s Rules

In: Odds 'n' Sods

19 Aug 2009

I just received this list of “Men’s Rules” by email. It had me in stitches, so thought I’d share it…
These are our rules. Please note.. these are all numbered ‘1 ‘ ON PURPOSE!
1. Men are NOT mind readers.
1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You’re a big girl. If it’s up, put it [...]
